Decorative bottles, mini soccer balls, glitter glue, feather boas, embroidery thread and more. Before you know it, the colors have not only inspired you to create something meaningful or artistic, but it also served as a gentle reminder to laugh and play more, be silly, or try something you’ve never done before.

You’ll be surprised at how your eyes light up and feel a sudden boost of energy as you walk by an aisle of drawers, filing cabinets and plastic totes in bold, neon colors at your local The Container Store.

Believe it or not, even taking the time to stop and look at the vibrant colors of floral bouquets sold at Costco will immediately lift up your spirits. For that brief moment, even though you are surrounded by the chaos of shoppers around you, vibrant hues of blues, yellows, greens and pinks will somehow transport you to a place of peace, love and hope.

Little moments of color, wherever you may be, can be moments that bring positive energy, excitement, motivation, or serenity. When we look up and become mindful in our everyday lives, we don’t have to frantically search too far to find a little piece of joy and whole lot of color.
