Start your weekend morning with something fresh, natural and fragrant. There’s just so much goodness at the Farmers’ Market.
When you walk past the stalls, you can’t help but feel that all is right with the world when you smell freshly baked bread or the pure scent of lavender essential oils.
And the colors. It’s a visual feast for the eyes as you walk past the stalls of vibrant red, sweet cherries and strawberries, luscious greens of spinach and broccoli, bright oranges and yellows of carrots and oranges, and the shiny deep blues of blueberries and blackberries. Eggplants and red cabbages displayed in its purple glory look so enticing – and I don’t even like eating eggplants and cabbages.
Speaking of strawberries, I didn’t even know there were several different flavors of pure local honey. Yes, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, orange and more.
Don’t leave the market without buying a beautifully arranged floral bouquet to brighten up your home or to brighten someone’s day.
The vendors take great pride in their products, always greeting you with a welcoming smile.
And as you walk away with your reusable tote bag or rolling shopping trolley full of Farmers’ Market goodness to enjoy this weekend, I’m sure you’ll be smiling too.
