Catch that fall feeling

Enjoy the cool and crisp weather, sights, smells and sounds before the red and gold leaves fall from their branches and pumpkin patches are replaced by Christmas tree lots.

Cool weather, warm fuzzy socks, pumpkin pie, fleece blankets, hot cocoa and more. So many ways for us to enjoy that fall feeling.

How I enjoyed listening to the pitter-patter sound made by the first rainfall of the season. Finally, fall has arrived.

It’s that time of the year to enjoy your favorite pumpkin-flavored drinks and treats—lattes, teas, smoothies, muffins, breads, and my favorite—coffee creamer.

Just the other day I found a simple and easy pumpkin soup recipe. Heavy whipping cream, broth, canned pumpkin puree and more were blended into a frenzy and came out smooth, flavorful and oh so comforting.

There are pumpkins galore, of all shapes and sizes, at your local grocery store or pumpkin patch. Each year I make it a point to celebrate the colors of fall and enjoy every moment. I could never stop taking photos of pumpkins, apples, and the red and gold leaves of fall.

With fall’s arrival also comes a friendly reminder that the holiday season is just around the corner. It’s never too early to plan something yummy to warm the tummy on Thanksgiving Day.

Enjoy the cool and crisp weather, sights, smells and sounds of fall while you can. Before you know it, all the red and gold leaves will have left their branches and pumpkin patches will be replaced by Christmas tree lots. Plus, there’s nothing like seeing and hearing kids laugh while playing on top of a pile of leaves.

Happy fall!
